Spending some cold nights in the motorhome with just the curtain as an insulator from a freezing un-insulated cab seemed so ridiculous I kept thinking of an alternative to use less gas on heating, staying warmer as well as stopping the cab condensation running down the windows in winter.
When working at the port mooring ships in the early hours I would sleep in the motorhome because it was was easier and as my alarm would go off or the phone for my muster rang I never had to worry about waking anyone up.
This situation was always the case when I had to get up in winter between 2 and 6 am in the morning... So that's what promoted this project. Also note that the centre panel can be left out during warmer times so cab to inside of the van to make a cup of tea is practical. Also There is NO WEIGHT TO THE PARTITION so east to store "flat pack" in the overhead cab area.
