China and India just had their first battle in over two years. 300 Chinese soldiers armed with spiked clubs reportedly tried to take control of a mountain peak in the Arunachal Pradesh region. Indian soldiers were able to repel the attempt and the army generals were able to settle everything down after multiple skirmishes and Chinese soldiers were taken hostage. India and China have had border disputes since the Sino Indian war in the sixties and in 2020 India went as far as to ban over 200 Chinese phone apps including tiktok over privacy concerns. China has also been expanding its influence in the Indian Ocean which obviously angers India.
