This is the first time this steam locomotive Tangmere featuring on Jack Rumsey Central Railway Channel. I think this is the only unrebuilt Bulleid Pacific locomotives to run on Network Rail main line at the moment, with the casing still on and it’s chain driven valve gear. They were given the nickname Spam Cans due to their unusual appearance with the casing on. Tangmere is pulling The Valentine's White Rose rail tour from London Kings Cross to York. via Peterborough Station. Tangmere arrived at Peterborough to pick up passengers than departs. This railtour was promoted by the Railway Touring Company.
34067 Tangmere is the Battle of Britain class from Brighton built by Oliver Bulleid in September 1947. Tangmere was named after the battle station in Tangmere.
