In this video, we replace a Ring Doorbell with the Hikvision DS-HD1. We were going to do a comparison of the Dahua as well, but since the Dahua doesn't support 5ghz Wifi networks, we couldn't configure it since it wouldn't connect to Google Wifi.

Hikvision pros
Nightvision is excellent
3MP Resolution is much better than Ring
No Subscription fees since it stores video on SD Card
Can be connected to a Network Video Recorder
Much faster response to see video than the Ring
Hikvision Cons:
Dynamic range is poor during the day
Ring Pros:
Great Dynamic Range
Ring Cons:
Subscription fees
Online security risk
No SD Card
Slow to show video after doorbell rings
Low resolution
