Replacing the Noisy Hikvision NVR Fan without splitting wires
Walk-through on how to swap your standard super loud NVR fan for a silent one. This is for a Hikvision DS-7608NI-K2/8P NVR. I replaced the fan with a Noctua: https://amzn.to/337zpFP
You'll need a 3 pin to 2 pin Adaptor Converter: https://amzn.to/2KHVKTZ
No need to solder or splice wires!
The 3rd wire is for PWM fan speed control which the NVR doesn't support.
