Words have power
Words have power, so it is important to watch how we speak out loud. For us internet marketers our words predict how we are going to perform. So if we say, there is too much to learn, I am overwhelmed! Guess what, you will be overwhelmed and not know how to break things into smaller pieces.
I have been listening to an audiotape from Joel Olsteen, and he states, “Our words prophesize our future.” Joel says to not speak of the problem, but rather, speak of the solution. So instead of feeling overwhelmed with the learning curve, we could say, “I welcome this learning process, for what I learn, I am able to provide value to people along the way.” “When I provide value, people begin to know, like, and trust me.”
Words have power and can spur you into action or inaction, depending on if you are speaking of the solution or the problem! Always try to speak positively, because our words help to change our thought process. According to Joel, make declaration statements (affirmations) and speak them out aloud every day.
As an internet marketer, you may want to say, “I declare that I am a successful internet marketer, more focused on giving value to my team and to others, that will help in their success.” Remember, that is giving we are also receiving. What you give out, comes back
