ways to rank a video in youtube. One such way is through the use of social media.
After uploading your video to youtube, youtube gives you the opportunity to share your video with social media. There are buttons to click on that have the symbols of facebook, google plus, tumblir,
pinterest, linkedin and many more social sites. After you click on the button, you can share your video to that social media site, thus allowing more eyeballs to your video!
Another way to use social media, is to join a video syndication group. That is a group that you have to view 3-5 of other people's videos, before you can leave the link to your video to be viewed. Not only
should you view the video all the way through, you should like and leave a comment! You must view the video all the way, because youtube will rank your video by how long others have viewed it. If they only
watch the first 30 seconds of your video, your rank will not be so good in youtube. If you are a member of such video viewing groups, you need to watch and play the video all the way!
To help others watch your video, do not make a long video. From my research online, it takes 10 seconds to grab your viewers attention, and it is indicated that a desktop viewer seem to stick with a 2 minute
or less video. So the shorter one can make a video, people are more apt to watch it! Now a 2 minute video doesn't cut it for a how to video, buy in this case the viewer really wants to know the information
and is more likely to stick around to the end. Also a 2 minute video won't cut it in a training webinar! Another way to make sure people will continue to watch your video, at least in the first minute of your video, stick to the subject, that is what you said your
video was about in the topic. I don't know how many videos I have clicked on to find out they don't address their subject matter! If you want to eventually lead away from the subject, after a minute of addressing
the topic, than lead towards the topic you really want to talk about! If people at the beginning of their video stray away from their topic, people will click off! This will affect the ranking of your
video!
A great way to rank a video in youtube, is through the comments. Youtube takes comments very seriously! They feel that a person really values your video if they take the time to make a comment. Youtube
also looks to see if generic comments could be spam. So if you leave comments, like "great information", "good tips", or anything similar to this, youtube can view this as spam. If you are in a youtube
syndication group leave more than just a general comment, be more specific! Specific comments showed that you actually watched the video. So for example, you could say "I find what you said about......
will be helpful in my life." Be more specific and you can help to rank a video in youtube!
