The Stripper; Twenty One Part One {Justlena}
Selena stayed up all night. She was worried about Harry and now Jai. They both knew Selena's secret. Right now it was 7 in the morning. She really needed to talk to someone about what Harry did to her, so she decided to get breakfast with Jake.
Selena got out of bed and changed. Even though she wanted to, she wasn't going to wear pajamas out to breakfast. She changed into a white tank top that had a big gray anchor on it. Her shorts were just light blue jean shorts. Her shoes were white dress, but at the same time casual, sandals that had a flower on the straps. Once her outfit was done, she curled her hair quickly and clipped her bangs back. She hated having her hair in her face. Selena then applied natural make up to her face. Once she was finished, she texted Jake to meet her at Aje Cafe; it was one of the most beautiful cafes in Chicago. Selena then threw all her necessities into her white coach purse and headed out to the cafe.
Aje Cafe wasn't too far away from Selena's place, so she decided she could just walk there. One her way there, she put in her earbuds and listened to Cody Simpson's album Surfers Paradise. Her favorite song was If You Left Him For Me. In some ways, that song reminded her of Justin. Either way, she just loved it. No, she loved Cody in general. She was so into the music that she almost walked right past the cafe.
Once Selena entered Aje Cafe, she saw Jake sitting by the window while sipping some coffee. She walked over to the table sat across from Jake. Jake smiled at her, but Selena had a very serious look on her face. Her facial expression was a mixture of seriousness and scariness. "I have to tell you something."
Jake's smile quickly faded. He knew right away this wasn't a sibling bonding time, it was a confession time. The one thing he knew about Selena was that she always had some kind of secret. Right then, he knew he was about to find one of them out. "You know you can tell me anything."
Selena still had the same expression on her face. But now it was more scariness than seriousness. "I know you're close with mom and dad, but you can't tell them this. The only other person who knows about this is Joe. I'm not ready for the whole world to know." Joe Jonas was Nick's older brother whom Selena barely dated.
Jake nodded slowly. He was beginning to get scared. He couldn't even guess what Selena's secret was. "Sel, I promise. You know me. Even though you barely tell me any of your secrets, when you do, I never tell anyone."
Selena breathed in. Instead of blurting out what Harry did to her, she figured she should tell him the full story. "Well, first, I'm a stripper... I quit my stripper job last night, but now I'm a personal stripper." That was quite true.. Selena hasn't called the guy yet, but she did quit.
Jake's eyes went wide, but then he let out a quiet laugh. "That's it? I was expecting something worse."
Selena was shaking her head, but she continued anyway. "Do you remember Harry? Jasmine's father?" Jake nodded. He was beyond confused. "Well, he found out I'm a stripper and he's threatening to tell Justin, this guy I like, if I don't let him see Jasmine."
Jake's mouth fell open in shock. "Well, there's an easy solution. Let Jasmine see him. After all, he is her father. She deserves to know him."
Selena sighed. She was beginning to think this was a mistake. "I understand that, but I can't let Harry near her."
"And why's that?" Jake sat back while crossing his arms. "This reason better be good."
Selena rested her hands in her lap then glanced down at them. She whispered quietly, Jake could barely hear her. "Because of what he did to me. He hasn't changed, Jake."
Jake leaned forward. Now he was more confused than ever, but he looked pissed. "What the hell did he do to you?"
Selena looked up at her twin brother. By now, there were tears running down her cheeks. She also looked beyond afraid. Right then, Jake knew it was something bad.
