Takachiho Kagura: "Dance of Tajikarao"

I went to Takachiho in Miyazaki Prefecture in December 2011.
Takachiho is awesome, definitely visit it if you're in Kyushu!
Takachiho is also known for its Kagura Dance that is held EVERY night from 8-9pm at Takachiho Shrine.
The night I went, they performed 4 different traditional Japanese dances.
"Dance of Tajikarao" - Dance #1:
Tajikarao was a god known for his great strength. When the sun goddess Amaterasu hid herself in a cave, Tajikarao went searching for her. Tajikarao suspected that Amaterasu hid in Amano-Iwato cave. This dance depicts Tajikarao listening for any sound that would prove that Amaterasu was actually in the cave.
P.S.: I'm sorry for the bad camera handling. It was so crowded and I had to sit in "seiza" posture for a long time.
