The Bridge Cross | Scroll Saw Gift
This handmade cross is made from African Mahogany and makes a beautiful wall hanging. This scroll saw project is a gift for a colleague who pastors a new church development outside of Wilmington, NC.
To make this cross, I needed a panel that was wider than my lumber. So, I re-sawed the board I had so I could glue up a larger panel. In this process, I also try a new (at least new to me) technique to help keep a freshly re-sawn board from warping. The church logo, which forms the focus of the cross, is not overly complicated though it does include some rather small pieces to be cut.
