V-machine VST-player Passive Cooling and Bluetooth MIDI
Proof of concept. I wanted to make the best stand-alone VST player possible. So far I've implemented more RAM, CF-card as hard-drive, passive cooling and BLE wireless MIDI, via CME usb adapter and extra control buttons via Korg Nano Control 2, as the V-machine's got a built-in USB server for MIDI/CC/Sysex. In the next step, I will make a casing to enclose the new heatsink, implement new buttons and put a relay on the signal output to eliminate output noise when the unit is turned off. Sadly, the VIA VX700 CPU is soldered on the board and not upgradeable to the VX900. The music at the end is composed by me.Sorry for the bad audio & video, filmed with an OLD Canon compact A470.
