💪 On the Mend and Back to Basics
Beau had been injured during his Hurricane 🌀 Milton Evacuation which caused him to go lame on his right hind. He has improved enough that I a allowing him back into some very light work with a focus on ground basics in walk only. This will give us a chance to slowly introduce work back. Keeping the work slow and without a rider will reduce joint, tendon, ligament, and muscle strain. We will also be able to see how he copes with this and be able to access if he can go forward, slowly, or if he needs more rest time. His leg and soundness will be monitored and checked routinely. We hope that he continues his healing progress, but if we have to take a step back again, that's OK too.
