Beau was injured in his Hurricane 🌀 Milton Evacuation. He became lame on hs right hind. After a period of rest, he was brought back into in hand work. This was the first time he has trotted since that in hand work began. Yes, he has trotted in the field, but he hasn't trotted in his work or schooling yet, so it also gave me a chance to see how his right hind was looking as well.
Another thing, is this in hand trot work is new for him. He has trotted in hand a couple times for in hand sport Horse classes. It has been a couple years since he last did that though. Plus, he has not been properly schooled to understand the cues for trot in hand, and move and stay with the handler, prior to this current work, so you can see, in the videos, he sometimes gets rushy and excited. That's one of the things that's being addressed during these sessions, but he's trying really hard. ♥️
