This is how simple it is to start your own Currant, Jostaberry, and Gooseberry bushes from cuttings! Take cuttings when the plants are dormant (no leaves)in late winter/early spring and when it is still cool outside but warm enough that the soil can be worked.
Follow these simple steps to make your own berry bushes:
1. Make the cuttings about 1 foot in length
2. Dig a shallow trench so that you do not break the cuttings when pushing them into the soil
3. Gently stick your cuttings into the trench.
4. Fill the trench with soil
5. Wait until next spring to move the plants to their new home!
