ONE BY ONE: Using Cloth in Blender to make a flag and support Ukraine!
I love Blender...
And I love the Cloth Dynamics in it. Compared to some other software, the actual controls are not overwhelming but despite this the results are equally as impressive as other packages.
In this particular tutorial, we are going to make a flag. I could use any flag, of course, but because of the atrocities occurring in Eastern Europe and as a way to present my opinion towards it I decided it would be appropriate to texture it with the Ukraine flag.
I'm not a political person. I do not like even getting involved in office politics, but I cannot stand by and watch emotionless as to what is happening in Ukraine. War is not a solution to anything. Peace and understanding are the only ways to move forwards. Until it does, all we can do is get as much aid as we can to the Ukrainian people and help them beat back the forces that are invading their territory.
In the words of their National Anthem:
Ukraine is not yet dead, nor its glory and freedom,
Luck will still smile on us brother-Ukrainians.
Our enemies will die, as the dew does in the sunshine,
and we, too, brothers, we'll live happily in our land.
