I love Blender...

But I have been wondering for a while now how I can use a linked file in a scene.

you see in a production, linked files don't just need to be something that can be updated. they also need to be, in many cases, animatable. And I don't just mean in location, rotation and scale. no, I mean if you have a rigged character with joints and controllers, you will need to be able to get to use these. But you can't do that with a linked Asset...or so you think.

I finally discovered how to do this and it has completely opened my workflow with Blender in a way that I did not think possible.

It's a short tutorial, so please watch and see for yourself!
