Interview with Kevin Willmott on the Movie "Chi-Raq"
This is a recording of an interview with Oscar-winning screenplay writer and film-maker Professor Kevin Willmott, asking why he was interested in adapting Aristophanes' comedy "Lysistrata" into a musical movie about gun violence in "Chi-Raq", directed by Spike Lee. The interview was part of the spring programme of the Archive of Performances of Greek & Roman Drama at Oxford University in May 2021.
