🚀 Learn how to remove the 'Powered by Shopify' tag from your website footer with this easy-to-follow tutorial!
👉 Follow along as we navigate the Shopify admin together.
Step 1:
Head to 'Online store,' click on 'Themes,' and find your current theme. With a few clicks, you'll be in the 'Edit default theme' section.
Step 2:
🖱️ Find the 'Powered by Shopify' section under links, press the spacebar, then click 'Save' at the top, and voila!
🛠️ But what if the tag persists? Don't worry, I've got you covered.
Return to the Shopify admin, click 'Online store,' 'Themes,' and this time, choose 'Edit code.'
In the 'sections' directory, locate 'footer' and open 'footer.liquid.'
🔍Search for 'powered by' and delete the tag, save the changes at the top, and you're done!
