In this tutorial, I'll walk you through the process of setting up automatic order fulfillment on your Shopify store. Implementing automatic order fulfillment can significantly improve the efficiency of packing and shipping, but it's important to assess its suitability for your specific eCommerce store.
🔧 Steps Covered in the Video:
1. Access the admin section of your Shopify store.
2. Navigate to 'Settings' and click on 'Checkout.'
3. In the 'Orders Processing' section, locate 'After an order's been paid.'
4. Choose the first option, 'Automatically fulfill all the order's line items.'
5. For enhanced customer communication, select 'Notify customers of their shipment via email.'
6. Save your changes by clicking on the save button in the bottom left-hand corner.
This method is particularly beneficial for products such as digital downloads or when utilizing a fulfillment service. However, keep in mind that it doesn't apply to local pickup orders.
