Roadblock Alpha is significantly better at dealing damage than its normal variant, being able to efficiently clear raptor swarms using its explosive shield and deal high damage to large dinosaurs with its shield bash and the drill fist rig.
It does have lowered shield durability, but the ability to use Taunt while the shield is active counteracts this.
