The 7th demo by Abaddon, one of the most well kept gems and unique acts fro Brazil's obscure early 90's underground.
In this release, the project, already consisting only by The Amorphous Wizard Sacrificer and The Black Sorcerer Ahriman, seems to be in transition from their first phase of atmospheric and necrotic Funeral Black Doom sound, into the more Pagan Ritual Ambient sound that characterizes their releases starting from "The Roots of the Satanism", released after this.
The previous demos released in 1995 already saw the beginning of this transition, with drumless tracks but still using dragging, primitive Black Doom guitars, whereas on this one they dropped the guitars completely in favor of droning, minimalistic and austere ritualistic key lines, creating an atmosphere of mysticism and alchemy that definitely fits within the early 90s Dungeon Synth scope of things, but definitely with a Souther American feel. Some pagan and folk instrumentation is also already present here, particularly in the use of flute.
Self-released on tape in 1993. Re-released on digital via Voz da Morte Prod., who's doing a great job in repressing obscure Brazilian gems. CD version to come as well.
