For this special Holiday Collaboration, Olga and I have given each other a holiday themed challenge. Olga has challenged me to use colors outside of my comfort zone - #redandgreen - traditional Christmas colors. And she has challenged me to use the swipe method in this painting. I was both excited and nervous about this challenge because I have not yet tried the swipe method with such thin paints!
Canvas size: 20" x 10"
Colors: All custom mixed colors use either Amsterdam or Liquitex paints.
All the colors in the red to green gradient are group 1 colors. The swipe colors are mixed with her group 2 recipe. This layering method is the key to the #cellactivator magic that you see in this video. It really is that easy to achieve bold, vibrant cells!
