Road Trip to the Solar Eclipse - Western Australia - April 2023
One of the most memorable trips of my entire life! We travelled 3000+ kilometers on our 10 day trip to Exmouth, a tiny town in Western Australia. Nihal S Amin and Yash Soorma were my partners on this trip! Special thanks to them for making this an unforgettable experience. We represented Astrophotography India, our astro community at this eclipse.
Our Primary goal was to witness our first total solar eclipse, and in addition to that we got to do astrophotography in some of the darkest bortle 1 skies on the planet, see the stunning sceneries of the Australian Outback, and plenty of wildlife as well. Our rental car, a Hyundai Kona was our trusty ride for the entire journey.
Drone shots were using my DJI mini 3.
Most of the other videos were shot on DJI osmo pocket and iphone 13 pro.
