The new Pulse Rifle FX Module from Majenko Technologies provides an integrated ammo counting display and sound effects facility for embedding inside your replica pulse rifle project.
Controlled by a powerful PIC32 microcontroller, the module sports a 12-bit DAC and 1.8W power amplifier, dual 7-segment red 0.56" display, 6 IO connections, 2 high power LED channels, and an expansion port for adding all sorts of other devices.
The module is completely reprogrammable using the integrated USB interface and MPLAB-X with C-32 or XC-32 from Microchip.
The default firmware provides the traditional ammo counting as seen in the Aliens film (99-95 countdown on magazine insertion), 20RPS pulse rifle firing, grenade launcher firing with random delayed explosion, and even grenade launcher racking sounds and magazine remove/insert sounds.
The two LED channels can sink up to 2.3A of current per channel.
