Aliens M41A Pulse Rifle Ammo Counter and SFX
This is a combination of one of my LED8HEX boards with a custom Pulse Rifle firmware on it acting as a dual ammo counter, plus a dsPIC33 working as a polyphonic sound effects generator. The left switch changes between PR rounds and grenades, the middle switch is the magazine presence detector, and the microswitch is the trigger. You get different sound effects for the two modes, plus a "magazine empty" click sound. The output its powered by a small 250mW power amplifier (could be bigger, but it does the job). The whole thing is powered off 4 AA batteries.
