So far, this is probably my favorite map aesthetically speaking. Don't get me wrong, both the others are beautiful in their own ways, especially Dissonance, but there's something about the icy caves and giant Fallen Ketch in the background that really does it for me with Eventide Labs. As far as the map itself goes, it gives me some minor Gambler's Ruin vibes from the Forsaken map pack, but I think that's moreso from the Fallen structures than the layout of the map itself.
It's definitely on the closer range side and I could see SMGs being pretty strong here, as well as hand canons. Obviously autos will find their place, but I genuinely don't know if even Pulses will see much use here outside of rapid fires and some of the prime meta suspects like NTTE. Scouts will straight up have zero presence.
I also noticed there's a pretty direct line from A to C flag, which means we'll definitely see people going for big multikills at the start of control matches and both of those points will be flipping a lot. This might even make control play out similarly to how it does on Burnout where controlling A and C and ignoring B tends to be the play because of how easily a coordinated team could keep both of those zones locked down.
I'm excited to see how this one pans out as we get more familiar with it.
