Sorry it's been so long my dudes. I moved into my first apartment back in March and immediately started crazy overtime at work right after that, so my life's been a bit crazy for a while. I'm super stoked to have had the time to jump back in and get a solid roll of Luna's to take for a spin. I've got my personal 4/5 with fluted, ricochet, slideshot, and range mw. Unfortunately I got Harmony instead of Precision Instrument in the last column, but everything else is perfect for me so I'm happy for now.
I gotta say, this thing feels muuuuuch better than the collections roll we have from back during the Forsaken days. They buffed the stats a little bit, but the perks and ability to roll better mags and a different mw has really made all the difference in how the gun feels. I'm a huge fan of how the precision frame grants a free +25 to the AE stat as well. This means I'm running around with an absolutely MASSIVE 80AE at all times, without even consuming a grenade.
The only investment is an Icarus Grip mod. As you can see in the video, this thing has zero problem snagging crits while floating about. It's seriously refreshing to use a hand canon in the air again. Took me a bit to readjust, but it's all coming back like second nature pretty quickly and I've been able to leverage this unique strength of Luna's pretty well so far. Even on any other class you'll be sitting at 60ae at base. On Hunter, you could even throw on Knucklehead radar to match Dawnblade's 80 total.
I also find the recoil to be really nice. I know that's an unpopular opinion for MnK players, but I haven't had any blatant issues tracking my opponents through the kick so far and I feel like it does wonderful up close. It's also really nice for peak shots since the recoil resets so fast. Honestly, I'm fairly confident I can put my Rose down now that Luna's is here. The consistency at all ranges is insane and the flexibility for how I can engage with such high AE is unmatched.
