Are people in China selling bags of CLEAN AIR???

Well, not really. That’s kind of misinformation. BUT.

Several years ago, a Chinese millionaire philanthropist started a company selling canned air, with profits going to charity. He also did a stunt where he gave away the cans for free to raise awareness about how big a problem air pollution has become in some Chinese cities.

But the real kicker is when some international companies got into the fray! Now, there’s a whole international market for fancy jars and cans of compressed clean air: Canadian companies selling mountain air; British companies selling Yorkshire air.

Are these companies exploiting this problem? Are they providing a useful service? According to the brands, some people do buy the air because of the pollution, but apparently, some people all over the world are buying them just as a keepsake!

What do you think? Is this fine and normal? Is it ridiculous?
