The malfunctioning Turkish shotgun really hampered my performance in this match. This is not a new problem. I had multiple friends offer a loaner shotgun. I declined. 1) I wanted to burn through the 1145 AA shells I had 2) I wanted to make this video showing the disaster this shotgun represents at a major match.
"THE LAST FLIGHT OF THE VR-Maybe".
This will be my last major match running a VR80. My Gen1 VR80 ran well for 5 years. After the receiver cracked at 10k rounds I received a warranty replacement "Gen2" with some obvious design changes. I have exhausted my thoughts, skills, & resources to get this shotgun reliable.
My KL-12 from Dissident Arms should be here by the end of the year.
