A presentation by SLA immediate Past President, Hal Kirkwood on mind-mapping.
Mind-mapping is a technique for individual or group knowledge reflection and brain-storming, enabling the visualisation of concepts and ideas. It can also be used during instruction to demonstrate the scope of a topic or to work in small groups brainstorming possible solutions to problems. A further use is resource or database selection.
Hal covered what mind-mapping is, how it can be used, and examined a selection of tools used to create mind maps.
