A model I created in Autodesk Maya 2011. I wanted to model a realistic 1934 Ford, but decided that a "cartoon" look was more my style. I created my own blueprints, which I imported into Maya, and created the base of my model with curves. From there, it turned into a nurbs surface, and then eventually converted into polygons... a technique I learned from Digital Tutors.

The materials used were a basic blinn for the body, mia material rubber preset for the tires, and DGS material for the chrome and mirrors. The headlights were a texture I used with photoshop and uv mapping, and the tires were done the same way.

From start to finish, this took me about 12 hours, with a two week period. Frame renders landed at about a minute a piece, and the 360 render at 480 frames took just over 8 hours.

I am very pleased with how this turned out, and I hope anyone watching this enjoys it as well. Please feel free to comment and rate. Even ask questions if you wish, I love to help others whenever possible. :)

Thank you again for watching!!!
