#ruthiliciousTravels to Boothbay, Maine to celebrate my 56th Birthday in a Tiny Home. It's my dream to own tiny home but I have never seen a real one yet. So for my birthday weekend, I booked a tiny home through Airbnb in Boothbay about 2 hours drive from where I live.
Boy, it didn't disappoint. I was planning to go hiking because there is a nice hiking trail in the area but it was too cold and I wanted to stay in my pajamas so I just stayed in the tiny home and enjoyed my weekend cooking, baking, eating, watching Netflix, doing yoga, and soaking in a luxurious lavender-infused Epsom salt bath while sipping mimosas.
It was a fun solo birthday celebration. Quiet, no cake, no balloons, no guests, no drama. Just me and my beautiful soul.
And my hosts Nathan and Kate are some of the nicest people I met. Nathan's freshly baked scones are delightful and the best scone I have tasted so far. I would book this place again just for that.
