Biographies:
Siblings Jack Davisson (age 16) and Elle Davisson (age 13) have been playing as a dynamic duo since 2017. Winners at this year's Southern Guitar Festival Youth Ensemble Competition and at the 2018 and 2017 Guitar Foundation of America Small Ensemble Youth Competitions, they were featured in Classical Guitar Magazine’s Sunday Prodigy series and on NPR’s From the Top (Show 361-Brunswick, Maine).
As solo artists, Jack and Elle have placed in many competitions around the country, including* first place in the 2021 James Stroud Classical Guitar Competition, the 2018 Columbus State University Guitar Competition (Division III), the 2017 Indiana International Guitar Competition (Junior Youth), the 2017 Boston GuitarFest Competition (Youth Division II and Youth Division III), and the 2016 and 2018 United States International Music Competitions (Guitar Group A). Jack most recently won 1st prize at the 2021 Guitar Foundation of America - Senior Youth Competition
Besides their love of classical guitar, this brother-sister team also shares a passion for soccer, reading, chess and pickleball. Elle and Jack live in Palo Alto, California and study with Christopher Mallett at the California Conservatory of Music. You can find the Davisson Duo on Instagram at @davissonduo.
