Coco Vega - Livestream Concert

We tried to set up our usual livestream for this performance but the internet connections and speeds between San Francisco and Lima were prohibitive. This will be our first prerecorded show in this series.
COCO VEGA
Concert artist, arranger, composer, and researcher of the Peruvian guitar, Coco Vega was born in Piura - northern Peru. From the age of 9 he began his learning and love the guitar, with his father being his first teacher.
His academic studies started with a scholarship from the now ‘National University of Music of Peru’, where he trained as a classical guitarist.
At 18, he performed with the National Symphony Orchestra, playing the 'Aranjuez Concerto’ directed by maestro José Carlos Santos.
Coco Vega was a member of the 'Cuarteto de Guitarras Aranjuez', one of the most important chamber ensembles in Peru and worldwide, with whom he recorded 4 CDs and traveled throughout Europe and North America.
To date, Coco has five recordings as a soloist and a book of scores published in 2016.
Coco Vega has represented Peru in various festivals around the world, including the Bank Austria Salon Concert (Vienna, Austria), Master Class at the School of Music (Dusseldorf, Germany), International Guitar Festival (Panama), Guitar concert at the Luthier Guitar Auditorium (Madrid, Spain), Guitar concert and Master Class at the National Conservatory of Music (Mexico), among others.
