In this business, everything doesn't always go as planned. Having already headlined in New York on two previous occasions, Machine Gun Kelly was once again geared up to bring his high-octane show back to the Union Square to tear down the Webster Hall stage. Due to poor scheduling however, his set was cut short, leaving the packed crowd so disappointed that the audience virtually cleared out before the headlining act even touched stage. We caught up with MGK immediately afterwards, while he was still disgruntled over the fuckery that took place. Grabbing a slice of pizza, Blow! sat down with Bad Boy's newest signee to conduct this unorthodox, yet highly Laced Up interview.
Having inherited the alias of an infamous prohibition gangster, Machine Gun Kelly is certain to live up to his name. "I'm coming back with the band," MGK announced as his tone quickly shifted from pissed off to progressive. It became quite evident that the real reason for his discontent is that the fans didn't get to see his full show, which for anyone who has seen it, is a raged out experience reminiscent of a Four Loko binge.
Fortunate for us, the energy that he normally devotes to his live show still transferred into the interview, as the course of the course of the conversation touched all angles, from girls in mosh pits to falling asleep in boring ass interviews. This was the first time Blow! Hip Hop TV has covered this rising rockstar emcee, but look forward to keeping you posted on Machine Gun Kelly's latest movements.
