How much did this composite decking compass rose inlay cost?
Love what you do right? This is the second compass rise I’ve made out of composite decking, using pvc composite decking with a a fiberglass reinforcement by Eva-last, and pvc adhesive from Titebond. We secure it together using stainless steel pocket screws and the kreg pocket hole jig.
This decking is very thermally stable and I promise the construction and seams of the compass will not open. The small format of the piece makes it have virtually no movement whatsoever. We leave small spaces around its perimeter for movement, and use a combination of Camo clips and plugged face screws to finish the install.
