Verses about the Saturday Incident...
Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 65: And indeed, you know those of you who transgressed on the Sabbath. And We said to them, "Be despised apes." - Surah An-Nisa, verse 47: O you who were given the Book, believe in what We have sent down, confirming what is with you, before you turn away faces and curse them as We cursed the Sabbath people. The command of Allah has been fulfilled.
Surah An-Nisa, verse 154: We raised the Mount of Mount above them because of their covenant, and We said to them, "Enter through this gate in prostration." And We said to them, "Do not transgress on the Sabbath." And We took from them a covenant.
Surah Al-A'raf, verse 163: And ask them about the city by the sea, when they transgressed on the Sabbath. When they "observed the prohibition of doing business on the Saturday," their fish would come to them openly, but when they "disobeyed the prohibition of doing business on the Saturday," they would not come. Thus We tested them for their transgression.
Surah An-Nahl, verse 124: The Sabbath was only prescribed for those who differed about it. Indeed, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection regarding what they differed about.
