I LOVE THIS SONG! And I hate that I messed it up at the end because those are some of my favorite lines and I got too excited I think. But this song is just so brilliant. “That funny feeling” is such a perfect way of describing it. The emptiness in your stomach, the sadness and the derealization is just all here in the song.
I’ve covered Goodbye by Bo Burnham before and I wrote about how much his Netflix special “Inside” means to me, but I really really want to say it again: It is the absolute most genius and amazing thing that ever came out of Covid. Holy shit it is so good. I think it’s time for me to rewatch it tonight.
