Miyoko Sumida: Japan's Piranha Family - Manipulation And Murder
On the 9th of November 2011, in Japan's industrial city of Amagasaki (Hyogo prefecture, Osaka metropolitan), police made a gruesome discovery. Inside a warehouse, the body of a 66-year old woman was found encased in concrete inside a metal drum. Police initially believed this to be an isolated murder case, for which local grandmother Miyoko Sumida (64) was suspected to be involved. When police investigated Miyoko and her inner circle, a family-like network was revealed with connections to other murder cases.
Glad you all enjoyed the last two cases, so here is another one I came across. Because this case is quite complex, with all the family connections and such, I tried to make an overview to keep the story as clear as possible.
