Governor Healey Announces Funding for Fare Free Regional Transportation Service
Governor Maura Healey will join local and state officials to announce $30 million in state funding to provide year-round, fare free public transportation services at 13 Regional Transit Authorities across the state. The funding was provided in the Fiscal Year 2025 budget signed by Governor Maura Healey in July and builds off of two years of successful pilot programs.
