Street Talk: Skid Robot
On this episode of ‘Street Talk,’ JJ Anderson meets up with Skid Robot, a graffiti artist with a purpose stretching further than the Los Angeles landscape. Skid Robot, who we’ve featured before on our site, is taking his talent to help clean up the homeless community. In this video, Skid talks about his latest project—building small living spaces for those who aren’t used to having a roof. This all started about a year ago after his girlfriend suggested he paint a dream cloud filled with money above a sleeping homeless woman on Skid Row. After he left her a couple dollars and drove off, he realized how powerful that image really was. It was at that moment he decided he had to help give the homeless a voice.
