Meet Anna Sułkowska-Migoń, laureate of La Maestra 2022 1st Prize & Generation Opera Prize.
🙋🏼♀️ Anna Sułkowska-Migoń is currently Conductor-Resident at The Polish Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra and conducts Ars Cameralis Choir. She is an award recipient of the 2022/2024 Taki Alsop Conducting Fellowship Program. She completed a bachelor’s degree at The Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music and is currently a master’s student at The Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music, where she studies symphonic conducting in the class of Łukasz Borowicz and choral conducting in the class of Lidia Matynian and Andrzej Korzeniowski. Last year, she won conducting masterclasses with Marin Alsop and The Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra and was a participant of The Leadership Management Course with lecturers such as Simon Rattle and Paavo Jarvi.
⭐️ Created in 2019 by the Paris Mozart Orchestra and Philharmonie de Paris, La Maestra International Competition and Academy for women conductors aim to highlight and give professional opportunities to conductors from all over the world, with no age limit. The second edition of La Maestra Competition took place on 3-6 March 2022.
