Ed Delci, a key figure in Arizona’s Chicano movement, was a catalyst and instrumental in getting Cesar Chavez an honorary Ph.D from Arizona State University. Marco Albarran was the originator of the effort to nominate Cesar Chavez to ASU President Lattie Coor. Ed Delci has championed for issues in Arizona, significant to the Latino / Hispanic / Chicano, mainly students.
