Anniversary Edition Upgrade - Nice, but slightly broken... for now
Well, Howard and staff have done it again. They have released Skyrim for the 6th time. This time, you get a whole lot stuff and don't have to pay for the full game again. If you own a copy of Skyrim Special Edition, or have it installed via Xbox's Game Pass, you are able to upgrade to the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim. There's quite a lot of cool new stuff with the AE version upgrade, and I'll be quickly covering some of the new changes and additions.
However, there is one glaring issue I've discovered that needs to be talked about: the black screen glitch and crashes with modded playthroughs. If you upgrade to the AE version, you may encounter an issue where your saves aren't loading either due to the update or some mods being incompatible with the new AE items and effects. What ever the reason, it's frustrating and we'll have to wait and see how this issue is resolved so we can return to our over 100 hour modded playthroughs. But this is definitely an issue worth documenting and taking a look at, as the game enters it's first week.
