Rhodes & CP 80 for MODX/Montage
Yamaha's synthesizer Rhodes sounds have a reputation for always being somewhat second-rate, mainly because the problem with velocity transitions between multisamples is hard to deal with.
Gone - take the Rhodes patches here and you'll get rid of that problem. The good thing: You need not to buy custom libraries.
The CP80 has largely left the stages of the world with the beginning triumph of digital pianos. Still, it offers an interesting sound. Yamaha has treated the old electromechanical piano quite stepmotherly in the Montage/MODX. Here are now new variants to try out.
The CP80/70 "mech." Patches use a user sample, so if you want to use them, you better download the user libraries at the following address:

The MODX+ is on the market now. I have no idea if the current libraries would work with this model as well. Internally it is more or less a Montage, maybe it now can read both types of libraries. The Soundmondo MODX patches, anyway, should be read by the MODX+.
