In this video I walk through my OBS and ASIO setup for recording music production tutorials with my Apollo Twin Thunderbolt audio interface. Somehow I updated my version of OBS and that screwed everything up so I had to do a deep dive to try and reconfigure everything. I walk through all the steps and my settings in case you find yourself in a similar situation to me. Now I just need to remember to never update OBS again to save me all the trials and tribulations associated with figuring out how to set this up.
One thing I didn't make clear... I intentionally record my microphone onto a different audio channel than my computer audio for the actual editing and mixing process of my videos. For that I use Davinci Resolve.
