LynkSpyder Reviews: Panasonic Lumix GH7 ... Day 2
In this Day 2 update, we utilize several 3rd party items with the Lumix GH7 (Lumix 14-42 lens). First, the camera is interfaced with an iPad via an HDMI cable and a Kondor Blue HDMI capture card. Using the Mevo MultiCam app, we allowed the HDMI feed from the GH7 as our primary. We added the Mevo Core (and a 9mm pancake lens from Olympus) as the PIP shot. And because the GH7 will not recognize the USB audio interface of the Rode Wireless Pro receiver, we connected it to the Core and used that as the primary audio source. And finally we added a lower thirds graphic using that option in the Mevo MultiCam app. There is a slight delay in the Core's feed (and related audio) and the primary shot. We will be playing with delay settings to tighten that up.
Side note: Face tracking focus on the GH7 is SPOT ON!
