Android Tablet, ZowieBox NDI, and Panni GH7
Being longtime Android users, the iPad just wasn't our thing. It performed well in the Mevo Camera Multicam world. But we can't love it doing anything else. So, shifting gears a bit and going back to the Android world (Google Pixel Tablet), we are having to find ways to get around some of the changes. I say "changes" and not "limitations" because it is a give and take. There are certainly things Android does better, and things Apple does better. But one of those changes is capturing the HDMI feed from a non-NDI camera. In this case, the Panasonic GH7 is being fed by a new product we are testing, the ZowieTek 4K. This device feeds our GH7 signal to the Multicam app via. And while there will be more testing to be done, the initial results appear to be very promising. More to come...
