Sgt. Vicente's Story: Back to Work
Police Sgt. Vicente Remediz experienced a severe case of COVID-19 early in the pandemic that led to multiple organ failure and over two months in an ICU. Once he was transferred to Kindred Hospital Arlington, Sgt. Remediz received specialized care from an interdisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians and rehabilitation therapists, that led to his complete recovery.
