Dr. Moore's Story: Recovery from COVID
Dr. Moore, a Houston plastic surgeon, was diagnosed with COVID-19 and admitted to a short-term hospital. When his condition was stabilized, he was transferred to Kindred Hospital Houston Medical Center, where an interdisciplinary team of caregivers went to work on his multiple complications, requiring everything from ventilator weaning to acute rehabilitation, and helped him recover and return home. "I wouldn't be where I am today without those guys," he said.
